How phone verification works on Bludland
Phone verification is a simple way for a member to show they completed an extra account step before connecting with others.
What the badge means
When a member verifies a mobile number, Bludland sends a one-time code to that number. Completing the code adds a phone-verification signal to the account.
What it does not mean
A phone-verification badge is not a background check, identity document check, endorsement, or guarantee of conduct. It is one piece of information among many. Always read a profile, talk in the app, meet first in a public place, and make your own decisions.
What is next
Bludland plans to introduce additional verification features as the platform grows. We will explain each feature clearly before presenting it as an account signal.
Protect your number
Never share a one-time verification code with anyone. Bludland will not ask for your password or code in a chat. If something feels wrong, stop and use the report option.
