How to make event friends in Delhi
The easiest friendships often start around a plan both people already care about. Delhi’s event calendar gives you plenty of natural reasons to begin.
Choose the event before the person
Start with a concert, comedy show, screening, or activity you would genuinely enjoy on your own. Shared interest makes conversation easier and keeps expectations grounded.
Be specific
Instead of saying “anyone up for something?”, say what you are going to, when, and the type of company you hope to find. A clear plan attracts people who are actually interested in the same experience.
Keep the first plan easy
A short coffee near the venue, arriving together at the entrance, or meeting during a public event can feel more comfortable than a long one-to-one plan. Make room for everyone to leave easily if the vibe is not right.
Build community slowly
One good event connection can lead to another. Be respectful, follow through on plans, and do not treat people as a way to fill a seat. The best local communities are built through repeated, positive interactions.
