1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Bludland ("we", "us", "our", or "the platform"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use Bludland.
• By registering, you represent that you are 18 or older and legally capable of entering a binding agreement under Indian law.
• We may request age or identity verification at any time and may suspend accounts where eligibility cannot be confirmed.

3. Nature of the Service

• Bludland is a platform that helps users find and connect with other users to attend events together (concerts, standups, sports, movies, and similar).
• Bludland only facilitates introductions. We are not a party to, and are not present at, any meeting, event, or interaction between users.
• We do not conduct criminal background checks, identity verification beyond [describe your actual verification method here], or any other vetting of users unless explicitly stated on the platform.
• Any decision to meet another user, attend an event with them, or otherwise interact offline is made entirely at your own discretion and own risk.

4. Assumption of Risk

• You acknowledge that meeting people online and in person carries inherent risk, including but not limited to risk of harassment, fraud, injury, or harm.
• You agree to take reasonable precautions when meeting another user for the first time, including meeting in public places and informing a friend or family member of your plans.
• Bludland is not liable for any injury, loss, damage, harassment, assault, theft, or other harm arising from an interaction, meeting, or event you attend with another user, whether or not that user was matched through the platform.
• This limitation applies to the fullest extent permitted under Indian law.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for any unlawful, abusive, harassing, or harmful purpose, whether online or at an in-person meetup.
• Post content that is illegal, offensive, sexually explicit, or infringes on others' rights.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity, age, or intentions.
• Use the platform to solicit money, sell goods or services, or engage in any commercial activity not authorized by us.
• Attempt to copy, clone, reverse engineer, scrape, or redistribute any part of the platform or its code, or use bots or automated tools to access or collect data from it.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account, at our discretion, including where we believe a user poses a safety risk to others—with or without prior notice.

6. Reporting & Safety

• Users can report abusive behavior, harassment, or safety concerns through [reporting mechanism — link/in-app feature].
• We may investigate reports and take action including warnings, suspension, or permanent removal from the platform.
• Reporting a user does not guarantee any specific outcome, and Bludland cannot guarantee the safety of any offline interaction.

7. User Content

• You are responsible for any content you post or share on the platform.
• We may remove any content that violates these terms or is otherwise inappropriate, without prior notice.

8. Payments (if applicable)

• Any fees for premium features, bookings, or paid services will be disclosed at the point of purchase.
• Refund and cancellation terms for paid features are set out at [link to payment/refund policy] and form part of these Terms.
• Third-party ticketing or booking services (e.g. BookMyShow) accessed through Bludland are subject to that provider's own terms, which Bludland does not control.

9. Intellectual Property

• All content, code, branding, and design on Bludland are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
• You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the platform or its code without our written permission.
• All trademarks and logos are the property of their respective owners.

10. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

• The platform is provided "as is" and "as available," with no warranties regarding accuracy, reliability, or uninterrupted availability.
• To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bludland is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of data, service interruption, user-generated content, third-party links, or offline interactions between users.
• Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable Indian law.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bludland, its founders, and affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the platform, your conduct at an event or meetup, or your violation of these Terms.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted means you accept the new terms.

13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
